# Calculation Speed Test — 60 Seconds, Bank & SSC Arithmetic

> A free 60-second calculation speed test with the arithmetic bank and SSC papers lean on: multiplication, squares, percentages and division. Take it here, no sign-up, then train the weak type daily.

## Calculation speed test

One minute, mixed arithmetic, no sign-up. You get your score and, more useful, which
*type* of calculation is slowing you down.

Type each answer; the next question appears the moment you are right. Skip with Enter on an empty box.

### What this test measures

Four question types, drawn at random, all of the kind bank and SSC quant papers lean on:

- **Multiplication** — two-digit by one-digit, the step inside almost every DI question.
- **Squares** — 11² to 30², which turn whole approximation questions into one step.
- **Percentages** — round percentages of round numbers, the core of profit-loss and DI.
- **Division** — exact divisions you should see without long division.

The total matters less than the split. If one type is far slower than the others, that is the recall you
have not built yet, and it is the cheapest marks you can find.

### Why one minute is the right unit

IBPS PO and Clerk prelims give quant 35 questions in 20 minutes — about 34 seconds a question,
including reading. Every second you spend on *arithmetic* inside a question comes out of that budget.
That is why speed is trainable separately from the topics: it is a habit, not knowledge.

### After the test

A one-off score tells you where you are. It does not move. What moves it is a short, daily, timed block on
your slowest type. ComputePrep's Speed Arithmetic drill runs at 15, 20 and 30 seconds a question, and its
clock is stamped on our server, so the limit you see is the one actually enforced.

### Is this the same as the ComputePrep drill?

No. This page is a quick self-check that runs in your browser and is not saved. The daily drills in the app are server-timed, track your streak, and adapt the difficulty.

### Is there an app?

Yes — ComputePrep is on [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.computeprep.app&hl=en_IN&referrer=src%3Dseo_speed_test), and the same drills run in any browser.
